Definitely getting better all around. Your production is much better, though there is plenty of room for improvement still. Obviously your ears are getting better and that's great. Sonwriting is also getting more solid. Nice work. The tune has a classic feel to it. Nice.

I concur with Tim on his assessment.... I like the vocal harmony. Maybe add a little Jimmy Smith B3 roaming around in the background - pad and stabs. Again add a little verb on the vocals for depth.

Kewl Tune....

For a rough sketch it sounds great, I'm sure that the final product will sound even better when you have finished any other overdubs and remixed it all. Interesting vocal harmonies, not typical but work well, the rhythm guitar with the phase/flange going on is very reminiscent of the Wailers.

Heavy bass, which is lovely. Y'know, one of my favourite things is a hole in the drum rhythm. That .,;,'.. stop! .',.;. thing is always cool and endearing. Well sung harmonies, and all-round well done-ness!

GREAT intro....
The feel of this reminds me of 'Cake' and 'Sneaker Pimps' which are two of my most favourite bands.

The voice sounds really nice and pleasant.
Point for improvement: To get the doubled vocals & harmonies more perfect, listen in to the 'hi-hat' for the timing, and try to be even more perfect than you already are. At the moment that is the only thing that could still be improved in my humble opinion.

I really like your ideas, melody lines and production.

I thought I had commented on this before?!?

reminds me a bit of Daniel Lanois esp with the harmonies, thinks get a bit twisty here and there with the chord changes. Bass sounds a little dirty, I do like that though, and the hi hat sounds a bit like someone shoveling sand. Cool

ok, needless to say, the bassline is friggin CATCHY
the beats sound a li'l too much... its like u've used too much reverb or overdone some effects
vocals are nice and melodious
