I like the groove going on here, curious what parts you are going to add to this...I can certainly see a horn section popping in, doing crescendoing whole notes alternating w/ perhaps little staccato eighth note measures broken up with rests. Vocals sound pretty sweet. For some reason I'd like to see the high hat get some cross fading, just for something weird. I don't know...keep me updated, so far the tune reminds me something off Danny Lanois' Shine.

that is a sloooopy bass line Groovin and vocals are deep and rich.. Singing
this is a subtle start on the track but its working for it.. the harmonies are nice as well, and the percussion is nice but it almost seems a little agressive for the track in its continuance Shrugs nice track..
lyrics are good too Thumbs Up

Like the bass line. The vox are a bit pitchy. I think they would sound better dry. I know this is just a scratch but, that's how you work out your production or at least, that's how I work out production. A real drummer and some Marleyesque guitar would work nice in there. Horns would be nice as well. I guess I'll wait and see how you work this out.

Brilliant vocal melody line. Love the harmonies...Love
Cool as hell bass groove!!!Cool
I'd love to hear this with some more percussion. Perhaps some steel drums, congas, or maybe a timbale.
Very nice track. Lemme know when it's finished.

just like almost everyone, i loved that bass, the percussion is not bad, but could've been better
more than anything, i think the vocals sound a li'l off key/pitch at quite a few places

personally i think it'd sound better if u played your bass loop only once by itself... get the percussion in, the time u play it the second time, basically instead of playing the entire loop a second time THEN getting the percussion in with the vocals
does sound nice to get the percussion and vocal on the same loop, i like that

some nice idea's have already been suggested.....i'd like to hear more variation on the drums. vocal harmonies are nice to me. bass is strong... would love to hear the completed version of this....pretty good start...

Nice chilling vibe, reggae-ish influenced bassline, I like the vocals and harmonies personally, I don't feel it's as pitchy as some other posters but if you were releasing this commercially I believe you would do many vocal takes and comp them together to get a stunning master take.

Look forward to hearing the completed version...

It's nice the way the bass by itself is an important sayer of things, but when the drums and vocals come in it's still important but fantastically backy-uppy. Deffinitely that reggae feeling Leeds is talking about...but some how the singing has made it into doo-wop, but not gross.
Nice use of effects too on the voice...bass sound is very warm too...sounds good even in lofi streaming.
Makes me think of night time Thinking dunno why, it's good though :) (Smile) nice job

Kewl and groovy.... little rhythm gtr would add nicely and B3 stabs would be kewl..... I'm not sure I would over produce this - but I concur with Tim about the drum variation.

Kewl Tune
