this is killer, i really like the vamping the guitarist is doing. the horns sound great too. also really enjoying how in the pocket, yet outside the drummer feels this. wonderful, wonderful stuff.

I like the swing, not so sure on the tune again, the horns and brass don't always seem to be in tune with each other but hey! that's jazz. The solos here are the best of all three recordings, especially the first solo, it kicks arse.
As regards to all three: they're nice- not mindblowin', but with a bit of work (works in progress?) these could really shine. Makes we wish I'd recorded some of my jazz band's stuff (we folded last year).
What I'd like to hear, though, is a little more fire, all this is very smooth and nice, but smooth and nice sound best sitting next to something fast and raspy. Is there an uptempo bop piece coming?
